Full Cast of The Bear Season 2: Every Actor & Character In Hulu Show

The second season of ‘The Bear‘ has gathered up a bunch of famous folks for its cast – you wouldn’t believe who’s showing up!

Last summer, the show burst onto the scene and left everyone amazed. It even won a bunch of cool awards. Jeremy Allen White, the main actor, snagged a Golden Globe for his acting chops. The show itself scored awards like the WGA Award, basically saying it’s the best new comedy series. Not to mention, it also got a Spirit Award for being an awesome new scripted series.

The story is all about Carmen Berzatto, played by Jeremy Allen White. He’s a talented chef who steps up to run his late brother’s restaurant. What happens next is a wild ride full of twists and turns as Carmen works hard to bring the restaurant and its crew together.

Get a load of all the main actors in The Bear’s Season 2 cast, and keep your eyes peeled for some seriously big-name stars making surprise appearances – they’re tucked in a bit further down the list!

Jeremy Allen White – Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto

Sure thing! In the show “The Bear,” there’s this guy named Carmy, played by Jeremy Allen White. He’s the main character, and he’s also like the window through which we get to peek into the world of a chef.

The bear season 2So, Carmy’s brother, Michael Berzatto, sadly passed away after taking his own life. Because of this, Carmy decides to switch up his plans. See, he was on track to become a top-notch chef in New York City, but he decides to step in and run the restaurant his brother left behind instead.

As the season goes on, Carmy starts digging into things and finds out that his brother had some money hidden away. This discovery gives Carmy a big idea. He decides to use that money to give the restaurant a serious makeover. And guess what? They’re even changing the name to “The Bear.” This new name marks a fresh start, showing that Carmy is honoring his brother’s memory while giving the place a whole new vibe.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach – Richard “Richie” Jerimovich

The Bear season 2Richie is hands down the most irritable character on the show. But, to be fair, the guy’s been through a ton. He’s the manager at The Original Beef of Chicagoland, where he’s all about sticking to old-school ways, which doesn’t jive well with Carmen, the new owner shaking things up at the restaurant.

Luckily, by the end of the first season, Richie and Carmy manage to patch things up, or at least get closer to being on good terms than ever before.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s character is dealing with a messy divorce, and on top of that, he’s trying his best to be a good dad to a daughter who’s struggling to make sense of her own special powers.

Ayo Edebiri – Sydney Adamu

The Bear season 2Sydney Adamu stands out as one of the most driven members of The Bear’s big cast. Right away, you can tell she’s super determined and always full of ideas to make the restaurant even better. She becomes good buddies with Carmen, but they hit a rough patch for a little while. Even though things get a bit messy towards the end of the first season, Sydney and Carmen team up to give the restaurant a whole new look.

Sydney and Carmen get along well, but she often clashes with Richie. Well, let’s be honest, who doesn’t have clashes with Richie?

Lionel Boyce – Marcus

Sure thing! Marcus brings an awesome touch to The Original Beef of Chicagoland with his baking skills and dessert magic. He’s super proud of his work and dead set on being the best he can be.

The Bear season 2Guess what? At the start of the series, we find out Marcus is taking things to the next level. He’s literally been crashing at the restaurant to make his baking game top-notch. Talk about dedication!

In the show, there’s this cool chef named Lionel Boyce. He starts looking up to Carmen, another character. But things get a bit spicy when Marcus messes up and Lionel gets all worked up. It turns into a bit of an argument. But, hold up – the story takes a nice turn when Carmen says sorry for losing his cool. Marcus is cool about it and accepts the apology. It’s a moment that shows how characters can grow and make up after disagreements.

In a world where different folks with big personalities come together, Marcus‘ passion for baking and his forgiving nature add a really interesting twist to the story of The Original Beef of Chicagoland.

Liza Colón-Zayas – Tina

Tina is causing some issues for Carmen as she takes charge at the restaurant. Tina doesn’t like changing her ways, and she’s also pretty stubborn and not very friendly to new people.

The Bear season 2At first, Carmen’s way of doing things annoys Tina, but as time goes by, Tina starts to feel more comfortable with Carmen’s approach.

By the end of the first bunch of episodes, Chef Liza Colón-Zayas‘ character, Tina, becomes a real team player. She’s no longer causing problems and is working well with everyone in the restaurant.

Abby Elliot – Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto

Sure thing! Natalie, also known as “Sugar,” is the sister of Carmen and their late brother, Michael.

Natalie’s relationship with Jeremy Alen White’s main character is strained because of the tough situation involving Michael’s passing, and they lost touch while Carmen was in New York.

Abby Elliot’s version of Natalie is the one who backed up Mikey’s restaurant, The Original Beef of Chicagoland, even though it was clear that her brother wasn’t in a good place to handle such a big responsibility.

Matty Matheson – Neil Fak

Neil Fak has been friends with Michael and Carmen Berzatto since they were kids. He’s really good with fixing things, which came in handy to keep the restaurant running smoothly while Mikey was around. Even though his friend Mikey passed away, Neil still helps out at the restaurant. He doesn’t always get along with everyone there, especially Richie. But he’s always trying to work his way up in the restaurant and get a better position.

Edwin Lee Gibson – Ebraheim

The bear season 2Ebraheim is like the calmest person on the team – he doesn’t like getting into arguments or fights. He’s originally from Somalia and came to the US as a refugee. Mikey hired him right after to work as a cook at his restaurant. In the next season, Edwin Lee Gibson’s character is going to go to cooking school. He wants to learn more and get even better at cooking.

Corey Hendrix – Gary ‘Sweeps’ Woods

In the TV show The Bear, there’s this character named Gary ‘Sweeps‘ Woods played by Corey Hendrix. He’s part of a cooking crew led by Jeremy Allen White’s character, Carmy. Right now, Sweeps hasn’t had much to do in the show. But guess what? The next season could totally change that! It’s a chance for the show to focus more on Sweeps and show us what he’s all about. So, let’s keep an eye out for the upcoming season and see if Sweeps gets his time to shine!

Richard Esteras – Manny

The Bear season 2Over at The Original Beef of Chicagoland, they’ve got a guy named Manny. Richard Esteras plays his part, but he’s not as well-known as some others on the team.

Jose M. Cervantes – Angel

Mikey Berzatto’s restaurant, there’s a guy named Angel who’s played by Jose M. Cervantes. Angel is one of the restaurant’s crew members, and he’s been there since before Carmy’s brother sadly passed away. Despite that tough time, Angel still works as a cook in the restaurant. One thing you’ll notice about him is that he often wears baseball caps. He’s kind of known for that!

Oliver Platt – Uncle Jimmy

Uncle Jimmy lent a big chunk of money to help out Mikey Berzatto with his restaurant business dreams. But, guess what? Mikey never managed to pay back that money. And we’re not talking chump change here – it’s a whopping $300,000!

The Bear season 2Now, Carmey and Richie are stepping up to the plate. They’re doing favors and jobs for Uncle Jimmy to slowly bring down the amount he’s owed. Their goal? Whittle away at that debt over time and make things right.

Chris Witaske – Pete

Pete is the husband of Natalie Berzatto, but it seems like not too many folks really warm up to him. Still, that doesn’t stop him from trying super hard to make everyone happy. He kind of stumbles through different social situations, doing his best to fit in, even if it looks a bit awkward.

Carmen Christopher – Chester

So, there’s this guy named Chester, played by Carmen Christopher. He’s Marcus‘ roommate and sometimes he drops by the restaurant to help Marcus with his ideas. Sydney, on the other hand, isn’t really a fan of this habit.

Jon Bernthal – Michael Berzatto

The Bear Season 2The series kicks off with a really sad event: the suicide of Michael Berzatto. This event sets everything in motion and gets the story rolling. Mikey had his fair share of problems. He was dealing with money issues and had a tough time with painkiller addiction. What’s interesting is that he never allowed his brother to help out at his restaurant, The Original Beef of Chicagoland.

He had this strong belief that Carmen, his sister, was meant for bigger and better things. This belief motivated Carmen to go to culinary school in New York, a decision that ends up being super important as the story unfolds.

Robert Townsend – Sydney’s Father

Guess what? In the next season of The Bear, the character of Sydney’s dad will be played by Robert Townsend. And if you’re a fan, get ready to dive into Sydney’s personal life even more in the second season. It’s like the show is gonna give us a closer look at what’s going on inside her head.

Molly Gordan – Claire

In the upcoming second season, Claire, someone who used to be romantically involved with Carmen, comes back into his life. We don’t know a lot about what role she’ll play in the season’s events, but it’s pretty clear that there’s a chance for their old feelings to spark up again.

Gillian Jacobs – Tiffany Jerimovich

Gillian Jacobs plays the role of Tiffany Jerimovich, who happens to be Richie’s ex-wife and also the mom to his daughter. While the first season drops a few mentions about her, it’s actually in the second season that we get to see Tiffany on screen for a bit.

Alma Washington – Angela Brooks

Alma Washington plays the character Angela Brooks in the TV series. Before this, people knew Washington from her time in eleven episodes of the funny show “Joe Pera Talks With You.”

Will Poulter

Sure thing! In Season 2 of the show, Will Poulter plays a chef named Luca who has a big impact on Marcus’ journey, which is an important part of Lionel Bryce’s story. You might also recognize Poulter from his role as Adam Warlock in Marvel StudiosGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Jamie Lee Curtis

In the new season, the Berzatto family is going to get more interesting with Jamie Lee Curtis joining as Donna, the head of the family. You’ll first see her in Season 2, Episode 6. You probably know Jamie Lee Curtis from the Halloween movies. She’s also going to be in Disney’s upcoming Haunted Mansion movie adaptation.

Bob Odenkirk

In the Berzatto family’s story, Bob Odenkirk plays the role of Uncle Lee, who’s not exactly the most likable character. You can catch him sharing the screen with Jamie Lee Curtis in the sixth episode of the show’s second season.

Bob Odenkirk is probably best known for his awesome performance as Saul Goodman in the hit series Breaking Bad and its spin-off, Better Call Saul. Oh, and he’s also the main guy in another show on AMC called Lucky Hank.

John Mulaney – Stevie

In the sixth episode of Season 2, we get to meet more folks from the Berzatto family. You’ve got Bob Odenkirk playing Uncle Lee, Jamie Lee Curtis as Donna, and the funny guy everyone loves, John Mulaney, as Stevie. You might know John Mulaney from his hilarious comedy shows, and he’s the same guy who voiced Spider-Ham in the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Sarah Paulson – Cousin Michelle

My cousin Michelle is married to Stevie, who is connected to John Mulaney, and they live together in the lively city of New York.

You might know Paulson best from her appearances in different seasons of “American Horror Story,” and she was also the main person behind the Netflix show “Ratched.”
